Report Now is an online reporting system customized and specifically designed for schools, organizations and businesses. It allows users (students, employees, parents, community members) to report suspicious or concerning behaviors, or anything that may affect the safety of a school, organization, or business. With the increase of school, workplace and community violence, it is extremely important to remain vigilant and prevent attacks from occurring.
Report Now allows users to remain completely anonymous so that reporting is encouraged. The system also allows users to attach screenshots, photos, or files to the report.
Once the report is submitted, the recipient (supervisor, manager, safety coordinator, or school administrator) is immediately notified via email of what is being reported.
It is really that easy. It takes less than 2-3 minutes to report something that may save lives!
A majority of persons who have attempted or carried out mass shootings and threats of violence have provided red flags and indicators along the way.
Think back to May 2nd, 2014, where in Minnesota, a 17 year old was planning to kill his family, start a diversionary fire, set off bombs at an area school, kill the school resource officer at his school and then shoot students.
If it was not for a citizen reporting suspicious behavior at a storage locker we would be talking about another mass shooting at a school in America.
